Headlines from youth employment accessibility research

The headline results from our youth employment accessibility pilot research are out!

After identifying that 80% of young people look for work on the job section on company websites we have sampled 50 Leicestershire companies to see how accessible they are.

A survey was created to assess youth employment accessibility online against a criteria set by young people.

A full report with all the details and findings from the research will be published later this month.

What’s next?

The research is well placed to bridge the gap, between initiatives working with young people and business. We can engage with businesses and provide support to help businesses benefit from recruiting from a diverse range of young people.

Our aim is to extend this research further in Leicestershire and look to scale up the project into other regions later on.
