Employers taking actions from training workshop

We ran our second successful training workshop with employers thanks to the support of Talent Match Leicester.

The half day workshop at the Docks venue in Leicester gave us the opportunity to share insights gained through our youth employment accessibility research.

The employers feedback was good with 88% rating the training workshop as very good or excellent.

100% of delegates would be interested in attending further events with us too.

It was great to hear the employers make commitments to take action back at their offices to make the online recruitment process more attractive for young people.

We had two of our young peer researchers, Peter and Chris Colley, introduce the research during the workshop and explain why we did the research, how we did it and what they want to see employers do next.

Their feedback was invaluable to the employers in the room who said “it was fantastic to hear their experiences”.

Feedback from the day

“I will share insight into young people’s views of recruitment and employment opportunities with clients and promote entry level roles in structures.”

“I will take ownership of the careers page on our website and review the length of our application recruitment and selection process.”

Thank you to our sponsors

Next training workshops

We will be running a further two training workshop which will be supported by Vacancy Filler so delegates can attend at no cost.
