Rural Leicestershire companies urged to support young people into work

We are looking for companies to get involved in a project to tackle unemployment in rural Leicestershire.

Access Generation is the employer engagement delivery partner for the Prince’s Trust in the Work.Live.Leicestershire (WiLL) project being led by sight loss charity, Vista.

The project, which has been awarded £2.4 million of funding from the European Social Fund and Big Lottery Building Better Opportunities Fund, is set to support 500 people who are unemployed or economically inactive and living in rural Leicestershire.

Access Generation’s role within this project will be to work with employers to identify and develop supported employment opportunities and to embrace inclusive recruitment.

Chris Tarry, founder and managing director of Access Generation said: “We would like to hear from employers who would like to learn more about our supported employment initiative and enjoy the benefits of attracting and recruiting from a wide range of young talent.”

The project runs from January 2019 to June 2020.
