Our director, Jemma Redden, shared our work, vision and the peer panel’s campaign #AccessYourTruePotential on stage at Tedx DeMontfortUWomen.
TED Talks are known worldwide for hosting speakers who typically share their views, stories or ideas on education, business, science, tech and creativity.
Tedx Talk is their independently organised events for local communities.
As an alumnus of De Montfort University, Jemma got the chance to join a cohort of women to deliver a talk to an audience which was also captured on film.
The theme for the Tedx DeMontfortUWomen was ‘empowering female futures’.
Jemma said: “I felt privileged to share the stage with all of the incredible women who spoke that day. Their stories were emotional, inspiring and I would encourage everyone to take a look at their videos on YouTube.
“This was a brilliant opportunity for Access Generation. I hope the video supports the peer panel’s campaign as I call on listeners to sign their petition at the end of the talk.”
