Employers invited to “Attracting Talent” webinar featuring a spotlight on the social care sector

Employers are invited to join our free “Attracting Talent; Employer Value Proposition” webinar which will feature a spotlight on the social care sector.

The webinar on Tuesday, 30th June will take place at 10am via Zoom, an online video platform.

Employers are invited to join the webinar being led by Access Generation who are delivering the training as part of the Work Live Leicestershire (WiLL) project.

The WiLL project, which is being led by sight-loss charity Vista, and funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund, aims to help over 500 people into work, training or learning opportunities in rural areas.

The training workshop will provide employers with insights from the Employment Accessibility research carried out by young people assessing the job section on 600 employer websites including 200 within the rural Leicestershire area.

As the Covid19 pandemic has highlighted key worker roles, during this webinar participants will get the chance to hear the views of young people on the social care sector and discuss the impact on roles in this area now and in the future.

Jemma Redden, Director of Access Generation, said: “We want this research to be used to highlight the gap in the recruitment process for inexperienced young people. Employers are invited to this training webinar to learn what it takes to become an employer of choice for the next generation.”

The interactive facilitated workshop will see employers working in groups with young adults from Access Generation’s peer panel.
