Loughborough software company Vacancy Filler sponsors Access Generation CIC

RECRUITMENT software specialist Vacancy Filler is sponsoring the Leicester-based social enterprise, Access Generation, in its efforts to assess companies’ youth employment accessibility.

Established last year to help businesses understand the benefits of employing young people, Access Generation Community Interest Company (CIC), is assessing the job section on company websites against a survey criteria set by young people.

The research is being carried out in partnership with the Prince’s Trust initiative, Talent Match Leicester, who helps long term unemployed 18-24 year olds to get them back into work.

Alex Khakbiz, Director of Vacancy Filler Recruitment Software said: “As part of our sponsorship, Vacancy Filler will be sharing our resources and expertise with Access Generation to help them work with small and medium businesses to attract young talent and build their own talent pool.”

Chris Tarry, founder of Access Generation, said: “I am pleased that Vacancy Filler, an established recruitment software provider, will be supporting our work.

“Some workshops we ran recently demonstrated that the biggest obstacle to employment for inexperienced young people was the barriers caused by the online application process and we want to help businesses overcome this and other obstacles to recruiting young people.”
