Employers own view of the online job application process
Over the last six months, we have delivered training workshops to employers and HR professionals. During which we asked them to relate their own experiences of being a candidate applying online.
It’s easy to forget what it’s like on the outside when you’re on the inside. So, we ran an exercise that took everyone back to their job hunting days.
In groups, the employers and HR professionals talked about the positives and negatives of applying for jobs online.
Positives
They appreciated an easy and short application process with clear, jargon-free communication.
Negatives
Getting no feedback, not having their expectations managed and a lack of communication throughout the process was not appreciated.
If you would like to know how to overcome the negatives and promote the positives then join us for our next training workshop on 16th October – book here.
