About Access Generation CIC

Access Generation CIC is a social enterprise on a mission to give young people a platform to share their views with employers to change the recruitment landscape. We want to empower employers to attract the next generation. 

Since 2016, Access Generation has been providing straightforward, practical advice to help employers make their attraction and recruitment processes accessible, supportive and inclusive for inexperienced young people. 

As an organisation designed to give young people a voice, we have a peer panel of young peopled aged 18 to 30 who drive our mission forward. During the pandemic, we launched a programme called Gen @ Work in which, young people receive training and development and paid work experience with projects provided by employers. This programme helps us showcase that young people without experience have what it takes to be an asset in the workplace. 

About the role

As a volunteer Trainee Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to receive training and create your own potential to earn. Full details of the training provided can be found in the job description. In addition, you will have the opportunity to help take the company forward and be involved in setting our direction as part of our young person led leadership team.

This is a 6-month minimum volunteer position with the potential to earn or extend your involvement with the organisation.

About the you

We are looking for passionate, motivated individuals who want to champion our cause and help us create work experience opportunities for other young people. 

You will, enjoy working with others, be comfortable with technology and be eager to learn new skills.

In this role, you will liaise with employers and partner organisations to seek out opportunities for projects or collaboration work. 

Full training will be provided throughout.

Trainee Marketing Campaigns Manager – Volunteer

From supporting directors with the creation of a marketing strategy to leading on the production of a content plan, this role expands the full breadth of marketing to give you an all-round experience and opportunity to train in the marketing field.
